Gamecube games on the Nintendo Wii

Yesterday I got my first Gamecube game so now I was able for the first time to test how Gamecube games work on the Nintendo Wii. Before you can play Gamecube games you need to get yourself a Gamecube remote and memory card because the Wii remote or memory don’t work in Gamecube games A well i got myself this stuff when i got my Wii so i was ready to play

I put the game in the Wii and yep there the Nintendo GameCube logo appeared where you normally see the game logo when you use a Wii disk. So i started the game with my Wii mote and then i was able to play the game like it should. Everything works fine except….

 I can’t exit the game. If I want to go back to the Wii mode i need to eject the disk and restart the Wii (on and off). Why didn’t Nintendo build a better way to deal with this???

 A well i now have a nice new game to play and i will tell you more about that game in later versions of this blog.

And remember there are lots of nice games out there for the Gamecube and they are most times lower in price so think about that when you look for a new game.

Palm Lifedrive Hardcase

Do you own or want one of those great Palm PDA’s? If so then you would like some kind of protection. So when I got my new Palm LifeDrive i ordered also the Palm Hardcase for the Lifedrive and that was a BIG mistake!

I used the hardcase for the first couple of days and was kind of happy with it. But then one day I get my Palm from the table and BANG the Lifedrive just slides out of it’s case and hit the floor Luckily it didn’t brake but since then i didn’t use this case again.

What the problem is with this hardcase is that it is open on the top so in principle your palm could just slide in there are it is kinda snug but still sometimes your palm will be able to escape from it’s protective case!

Also the door mechanism is very flimsy and for some people extremely difficult to open.

This Palm hardcase is the 3 case i got. First i used a palm case on my Palm Vx and my M515 and those case where great they where everything i wanted but this case is a wast of you money!

A good thing to know is that the lifedrive comes with a nice leather looking cover that protects your palm lifedrive from accidents i would say try the included cover first before you buy yourself another protecting cover for you palm Lifedrive.
