Music and Lyrics
This was a really good Valentine’s day romantic (perfect timing guys!) movie. It was funny and easy to watch, and the plot even made good sense. The movie focused on a 40s something washed out 80’s pop singer (Hugh Grant) who was trying to keep up with his music career, only to find out that he was truly clueless about lyrics. He chances upon a young woman (Drew Barrymore) who enters his life and apartment to water his plants. She helps him with lyrics for a new song which saves his career, however she also ends up in love with him, while he was not so sure at first. All in all it’s a feel good movie with a good happy ending. The visuals are nothing great so I would recommend you wait until its on DVD and have a sappy girls night to watch it.
