Husky House Restaurant, Golden

After a long drive we reached Golden, BC and decided to get something to eat.

We stopped at the Huskey Gas station where they also have a restaurant in it. The place was half empty so we decided to eat here. Then our waitress (Maureen R.) came she was short and just said that the food would take at least 1 hour.

And because we where not in a rush we decided to stay i don’t think that made our waitress very happy but she at least gave us menu’s. After that the service went down! After a while she came and took our order in a way that was even worse then you would expect in a jail. After we ordered Maureen came back and threw our cutlery and napkins on the table.

Then the drink orders came. And she forgot 1 water gave me diet cola with ice while i ordered without ice. So of course i didn’t want that drink and then i got a new Cola this time without ice but not diet any more.

We still didn’t get the water so we asked for that and she was very nice by saying that maybe next time she would bring it so we asked if we would just needed to get it ourselves from the kitchen she was not amused with that.

Then our food came in less then 20 minutes after we ordered!!!! what happened with the at least one hour wait for the food???

Can’t write anything about the food because by this time we where so disappointed about this place that we eat it but that was it.

Of course dear Maureen didn’t get a tip and i guess she should be happy that we paid at all. This was the worst service i ever got in a restaurant. Please Maureen R. do us all a favour go do something else but stop working in a place where you need to give SERVICE.

Our advice at this point is AVOID this Huskey House Restaurant in Golden
