Yes it is true never rate a book by it’s cover. But i did i got The Big Happy from the library just based on how the cover looked.
The Big Happy is a story about a guy who left a good paying job in television to become a writer. And David (the main character) is a strange man and the story brings all kind of strange stories up.
I would say that i didn’t really like this book at all but there is some hidden powers in it that i can’t explain that wants you to keep reading this book.
Maybe one of you can explain why this story has such a strong power to make you keep reading.
Although i didn’t really enjoy The Big Happy i wonder what you all think of it. Please read it and tell me what you think. Just check out your local Library or order a copy of THE BIG HAPPY

Today I was running out of time and needed a quick lunch so i ended up going to the McDonald’s in Motel Village in Calgary. The restaurant was not busy for lunch but still my order of a fish menu took longer then i expected but still it could have bin worse if it was busy.
The whole meal experience didn’t go well this time. I normally really like the fish burger that McDonald’s has but this time it was not up to par. First of all the bun was not fresh and had hard spots in it then the cheese was hanging out and try to get that back in after it melted half on the fish patty. My Coke didn’t taste like coke should taste it had a strange after taste. So to be honest this lunch was probably one of the worst I ever had at a McDonald’s.
Besides my meal the place looked OK not as nice as some of them but nice and clean and the staff of course where friendly and helpful.
Don’t know what i do next time i am hungry. Maybe i give this McDonalds a second changes when i am really in a rush but i hope that it will be better next time.
