Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis
Yes Mere Christianity is about religion and believe but still even if you are not in to these kind of things it still is a book everyone should read one time in their life.
The book is based on Radio Lectures C.S. Lewis gave in 1943 in the middle of the World War II the lectures where meant to help the people of England through the difficult days of the war.
Mere Christianity is not an easy book to read and I could not do more or less then a chapter a day everything more or less got me confused. But this book really is an eye opener for people that think they believe and for people that think or know they don’t. C.S. Lewis is not trying to convince you that believing is the way you should go and he also doesn’t tell you that they bible is the only right book.
What C.S. Lewis does in this book is making it clear how believe should work and it shows you where you really are in your believes. In my case it helped me realize where my believe is and it also showed that it is closer to where i want to be.
I would really advise to read this book once in your life it can take a while to get through it but it is worth it.
Go see you bookstore or library for a copy of Mere Christianity.
