If like me you travel around a lot for work and are always looking for a pen to write with then maybe go have a look at the Dollarama dollar stores there they sometimes sell a pack of 3 pens that you can easily clip on for instance your buckle loop. They are a great deal you get 3 pens for just a dollar.
The pens write great and don’t leak. There is one week spot on them and that is the black line on the pen where the part come together. Till now one of my pens broke loose on that spot with the result that the parts fly everywhere.
So if you are looking for a small and easy pen that can travel around with you then go have a look at the Studio pens from Dollarama.

Snow Falling on Cedars is a novel by David Guterson. This book for me is strange and it jumps around from a court case to events that happend in the lives of some of the characters in the book.
There is a lot of strawberries, fish, fhishing, farming, war and Japanese in this book and all makes a little bit more sence after reading it but still I think if i could travel back in time i would skip this book from my list of books to read.
It is not bad but there are a lot of books out there with a much better story to tell.

Today lunch brought me to McDonald’s and this time I visited the one in the Wal-Mart that is connected to the Malborough Mall in the NE of Calgary. Like most McDonald’s in Wal-Mart they are not big but still can seat a fair bit of people and this McDonald’s and they need that because it was pretty busy here at lunch.
Unfortunately the Wal-Mart McDonald’s don’t offer the complete menu and in this case it meant no Fish burger or Angus burger for me and those are my two favorites. So today it became a Mc Chicken and it tasted great.
The service was quick and even thought it was busy in the lunch rush I didn’t get the feeling that the personal was stressed about it and that is different from most food places at this time of day.
So my verdict for this McDonald’s is good and I will definitly stop by again if I am in the neighborhood and in need of some quick food.

27 Dresses a movie about a girl that can’t say NO and ends up being a bridsmade at 27 weddings and not even getting close to get married her self. Of course she is all in love with her boss but he doesn’t know that.
The plot of the movie is nice but brought to the big screen in an awfull way the movie is long and really is not funny at all. I would class this movie in the group of worst movies ever and i can only hope that they never make a sequel of it.
My advice if you want to watch a funny movie that you can laugh about then don’t see this one. Stay away from 27 Dresses it is a complete wast of time!

Today lunch brought me to the restaurant in the Zellers in Sunridge Mall.
Zellers made an nice effort to make the restaurant look nice with nice boots and a 60’s dinner kinda look. The total ambiance is nice even though you are sitting in a department store.
The staff was nice and very well prepared for their task and our orders where taken quickly and the drink serverd quick as well.
For the food to arrive it was a bit longer but within reasonalble time from ordering.
I got fish and chips and as they should it came with Tartar sauce a bit of a disapointment was that they just give you one little prepacked container like you see for jams in hotels and breakfast places and to me that seems a bit little.
The Fish and chips where prepared well and probably better then you get them in lots of restaurants.
Lets end this review up with saying Zellers did a great job with this restaurant and i was positively supriced how well they did and how good the food was.
The Zellers restaurant will be on my list of lunch possibilities from now on.

Summer is here and let’s hope it stays a little bit longer but by having said that it also means that warmer weather is here to and that means hot and clamp rooms.
So looking for a cheap fan to get some air moving in the house I found this one for less the 10 dollars at Canadian Tire.
The Airworks fan looks nice and white maybe not as sleek as the expensive brands but that doesn’t matter to me. The Table Fan from Airworks looks strong and the blades are from see through plastic to make it even nicer to look at.
3 Speeds are to your disposal and al 3 don’t make to much noise and that is a definit plus for me.
Often I use this fan in my window to move some fresh cold air in to my place and for that purpose it works great. The soft feet keep the fan in place and also make it more silent in it’s operations.
If you are looking for a fan that doesn’t cost you to much then i would say go see if you can find a Airworks 10″ table fan.
