Fast Food Nation

Fastfood nation the movie about junkfood

If you expect something like Super Size Me then please don’t see this movie because Fast Food Nation is not a documentary type of movie but more a normal movie.

And although the copy I got here in Canada Say’s it is PG13 i would not recommend showing this to people that can’t stand seeing blood and guts because there are some slaughterhouse shots in this movie that even where to much for me.

The movie Fast Food nation is about a fast-food joint that finds bad things in there meats and one guy go’s to investigate. And that is basically it they story is shallow and don’t really tell a strong story. Although the info in the movie could have made a great movie this is just one of the worst you can see.

I would recommend to look at different movies about this subject and don’t wast you time on Fast Food Nation.

Fast Food Nation is an impactful movie indeed… just today i passed up a sausage mcmuffin because of it. It’s obviously worth passing up fast food for more than health reasons.

I chose to watch this movie instead of reading the original book by Eric Schlosser. With intersecting storylines and an interesting ensemble cast, the movie had great potential but ultimately wasted the chance to send a lasting message. At the end, you are left thinking, “That’s it?”

I may still peek at Schlosser’s book to look for any common threads with the movie, but my expectations for the book have been lowered.
