Montana’s Cook House (Calgary, Crowfoot)

Yesterday evening at 6 P.M. we brought a visit to Montana’s Cookhouse on 112 Crowfoot Terrace in Calgary. The weather outside was bad with lots of snow but still that didn’t keep the people away from Montana’s. It was pretty full but we got a table right away.

Lets start with out table :( we got a table that seats four but it was not very level. it moved around like crazy. you really needed to watch your moves other wise our drinks would make a mess on the table (it was table 55 all the way in the back).

Let’s go on with this review. We got our drinks and made ordered our food. I got myself a Big sky burger with fries and a side order of Mayonnaise for my fries.

The food was served in a normal timely matter and was good. The only thing was that the amount of mayonnaise that i got was barely enough for 4 fries so please next time fill the little cup you serve it in!

The other thing that i was not very happy with is that i was never offered a refill for my drink, the waitress was at our table two time when my glass of Pepsi was already empty. She should have seen it!

The men’s washrooms where ok clean. But there was a lot of loose things lying around on the floors (including news papers).

Al with all the food was good and the service can be better.

And why didn’t we get lollies with our bill like all the other people?

i thought Montanas was one of the best places i have ever ate in my life. service was amazing and i never had to ask to have my drink refilled. i thought the staff was very nice and made my meal very enjoyable. i like the paper on te tables for an easy clean up and thought my ribs were fantastic.The price for all you can eat ribs was so low i almost fell off my chair. for the first time vistior at montanas this place left a huge postive impact and i will for sure be back for years to come

I was at Montana’s in Crowfoot …we are huge supporters in Montanas
in Calgary and Moncton NB..this location was terrible! Amy our Waitress had no idea what she was doing for service our Food order was wrong when we got it (the young girl who brought it to use was lovely)
Amy when told of mistake AVOIDED our table!!!!!!! we asked twice for re-fills on pop never got them! she had someone give us our bill
needless to say a tip was not an option for her…we were not the only unhappy customers the 2 tables within earshot were disgusted as well

I went out for lunch at Montanas. Crowfoot Location. We did get seated right away only because they weren’t busy due to the weather. Once seated it just got worse.

The waitor came and took or orders, and at that time we were ready to order everything.

The food arrived first which means we didnt get our appitizers. He offered to bring them out in a few minuites which we said ok ( even though APPITIZERS are for before dinner. But that doesn’t matter because we didnt get them anyway,

We didn’t get our side dishes either so we asked for them and only I got mine. My Aunt still didn’t get hers. At this point were expecting an on Duty supervisor to come out and appologize about the service.

This didn’t happen either so how are we to know these problems are being recognized? This is the second time in a row this has happened and others feel the same way and that the service here is awful.

I just feel bad for the people who feel obligated to tip either way when these people don’t earn it.

And the funny thing is that the Waitor or Waitress blames the person who was supposed to bring the food out, if the waitress or waitor is busy. Well im sorry that doesn’t mean you cant double ckeck instead of assume and have somebody else to blame it on…… your getting the tip are you not?
