“Pan’s Labyrinth”
Extremely well made film, one of its kind.
The story is set in Spain during the revolution. It revolves around Ofelia and her pregnant mother Carmen who have relocated to the mountains where the Captain awaits the birth of his son. The hills and her new home are oppressive for Ofelia who finds comfort in magic and fairies. As the drama unfolds, Ofelia and her mothers life take a tragic turn for the worse, but magic always finds her and keeps her.
